Ayman Elnour

Experience: Ayman has been involved in Islamic Finance since 1999.

He has an in-depth understanding of the Sharia issues that have driven and continue to drive the Islamic Finance.

He also had an extensive experience in dealing with a wide range of Islamic Finance products including both the retail and corporate sectors and covering UAE, GCC and international transactions.  He handled actual structuring of products as well as drafting documents in both English and Arabic.

Moreover, he has many years of experience in dealing with litigation matters and local advocates not only in the UAE but also in Oman, Saudi Arabia and Sudan.  He follows very carefully various Dubai court proceedings that may re-characterize Islamic finance Ijaras.

Ayman has much experience in dealing with a range of legal matters that relate to the day to day operations of the bank, such as opening of accounts for individual and corporate bodies, identifying their respective authorized signatories, letters of guarantee and credit, advising corporate on documents for structured and customized Sharia-compliant products, agreements between EIB and service-providers and agreements with developers of freehold properties, contractors, etc.

Experience: Mohamed Almahi is a legal professional and has accumulated extensive experience over a period of practice of 22 years. He has occupied the position of a Partner at the Sudanese Bar Association and has been with Al Suwaidi & Company as an Associate since 2016.

Education: Mr. Almahi has Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Khartoum, Sudan and Master of Laws (Master in Commercial Law, LLM) from The University of Juba, Sudan.

He was admitted to Sudanese Legal Bar in 1994 and the Higher Court and Supreme court in 2002.

Languages: Mr. Almahi is fluent in both English and Arabic.
