Experience: Suneer provided legal advisory services across corporate, commercial, employment, real estate, personal status and IT legal mandates and services for oil and gas clients. He has also advised various national and international clients on licensing, agency, distributorship and franchise agreements. Suneer has also incorporated more than 250 different types of entities in free zones, onshore and offshore for individuals, multinational corporations and juridical persons as well as advised and carried out restructuring of companies in different jurisdictions, mergers and acquisitions , liquidations of various companies in UAE and also advised UAE Liquidators and Global Liquidators of an International Bank( Under Liquidation) having branches in UAE.
Suneer also advised various prominent and leading family owned companies in UAE with diversified business activities in UAE and outside UAE on employment. He drafted employment contracts and advised various national, multinational companies and employees about UAE labor laws, regulatory frame works and HR Policies and settled many employment disputes and drafted settlement agreements for various multinational companies. Suneer is also a visiting professor at the University of Dubai lecturing on UAE labor law and has conducted various seminars for UAE employment law.
Moreover, Suneer also advised various local and international clients regarding different types of civil obligations in UAE and outside UAE. He has assisted the litigation team on disputes related to sale contracts of movable and immovable freehold properties, lease, plot sale and purchase, master community declaration, mortgage, loans, agency and other civil obligations. He also provided legal opinions for various legal issues to developers of projects and various construction companies with respect to the construction disputes due to breach of contractual obligations, delay in completion of the project, default and delay in payments and assisted legal team to enforce specific performance and recovery of outstanding payments and damages.

Experience: He was admitted to all Courts of the UAE in 1986 and founded Al Suwaidi and Company in 1996.
Previously, Mohammed was the Head of the Legal Department of Emirates General Petroleum Corporation. He was Vice Chairman of the Jurist Association in the UAE, was President of the Organization of Young Arab Lawyers and was Deputy Chairman of the UAE Jurists Association. He has been appointed as an arbitrator on more than 60 arbitrations to date. He is also called upon as a UAE law expert on international arbitrations.He is also a licensed arbitrator in the International Islamic Center for Reconciliation and Arbitration.

Experience: Ali Alraeesi is a Partner at Al Suwaidi & Company. He has significant experience on all major areas of law practice in the UAE including Civil Law, Commercial Law and Criminal Law.
As an experienced Emirati lawyer, Ali has rights of audience before all levels of UAE Courts. He has over 12 years’ of experience in litigation and dispute resolution in the UAE representing a wide range of domestic and international clients (companies as well as prominent business individuals ) in contentious matters. Ali has developed extensive expertise in handling cases relative to extradition, cybercrimes, corporate frauds, forgery, breach of trust, theft, money laundering, cheque bounce, harassment, offenses related to drugs, defamation, medical negligence, insurance and rental disputes. Ali has successfully defended in a number of court cases and settlements for various clients, which include government and semi-government entities. He also regularly advises clients in other types of litigation, including intellectual property, corporate and personal status disputes.

Experience: Abdelhak joined Al Suwaidi & Company in April 2014. Prior to joining Al Suwaidi & Company, he worked at a leading shipping and logistics company as in-house counsel, which led him to acquire strong negotiation skills, market intelligence in shipping industry, effective management of legal and contractual risks and established an excellent network within the maritime and trading community. He has worked with all continents in international business and he is a founding member of the UAE-Algerian Business Council in Dubai, he is member of the board of directors and chair of the working group on transport and logistics.
He is a trilingual Arabic, English and French speaker at international conferences on transport, logistics and maritime arbitration, as well as a regular contributor to different specialized magazines and journals on various related topics.

Experience: Reda is highly experienced and well-respected member of the Egyptian Bar since 1993, with an extensive in-depth experience in handling criminal, labor, civil and commercial litigation matters in the UAE having practiced in the region for over 25 years. He has conducted several arbitration cases in the region and is a recognized maritime insurance and intellectual property law expert. Reda’s full legal competencies also include a strong understanding of Sharia Law and the systems of the Courts which he applies in his litigation expertise, legal consultation, contract drafting and review. He has been a key member of the committee which drafted one of the federal housing laws in the UAE. He is also a regular resource person in several local newspapers in the UAE.
Reda is a certified arbitrator at Tahkeem Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre (ICAA), UAE and is a listed member of DIAC 40 – Young Practitioners Group, Dubai, UAE since 2016.
